Carrigan + Associates Begins Energy and Telecommunications Consulting

BOSTON, MA. – April 2, 2009. Kathleen Carrigan, an energy and telecommunications consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in public utility law and public policy has founded Carrigan + Associates.The new firm will provide legal, regulatory, public affairs and strategic planning services to clients in the energy and telecommunications industries.

Carrigan's range of experience includes being general counsel of an energy and telecommunications company. For eight years, Kathleen was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for ISO New England Inc. In that role, she was responsible for legal, federal and state regulatory affairs, government relations, and corporate communications.
Prior to ISO New England she spent seven years at Southern New England Telephone, now part of AT&T, where she rose from senior regulatory counsel to vice president and general counsel. There her work included managing the legal issues associated with the deregulation of the telecommunications industry in Connecticut.
